About Us

Stephen has run cranes for the last 30 years started with his father’s business back in N. Ireland. The Walker family moved out to Calgary, Alberta in 1997   and moved down to the Lower Mainland a few years later to continue his craning career.

All Purpose Crane Service was founded by Stephen and Lorna Walker in 2008, with the purchase of our 17 Pioneer Stiff Boom Crane. Stephen started to gain traction in the Lower Mainland starting with HVAC companies and other local constructions companies.

In 2010 we added our 28 Ton National Stiff Boom Crane, followed by our first 22 Ton Crane. Business quickly ramped up after resulting in a need for more employees and equipment.

We quickly added more employees and shortly after we purchased a 20 Ton National Stiff Boom Crane . As the brothers gained more experience our business quickly grew with the addition of 3 more cranes a 40 Ton Manitex Stiff Boom, 22 Ton Manitex Stiff Boom, and finial we added our first knuckle boom a 2020 Hiab 477 and a Fass 800 in June 2021.

At our company we take care of our customers and equipment to the best of our ability. We go the extra mile to be affordable, charge fair crane rates, and perform our work with the Highest Safety Standards.
